The Hive is South Austin’s spot for coffee, cocktails, and community. Start your day with a latte or wind down with a craft cocktail—plus food, live music, and events, all in a warm, welcoming space.

Absolutely—kids are definitely welcome. Come hang, meet friends, or post up with a laptop while the little ones have space to be kids. We do ask that all of our young customers (under 21) head home to bed by 9pm.

Yep. We’re cocktail-forward with seasonal drinks, classics, and a full bar—easygoing vibe, no “fancy bar” pressure.

Our coffee counter is open 7am - 8pm daily (closed Tuesdays). Swing by in the morning, afternoon, or early evening for espresso drinks, tea, and café favorites.

Yes—we serve food alongside coffee and cocktails, with a Cajun-inspired twist. Expect satisfying sandwiches and burgers plus rotating specials (including Cajun favorites like red beans & rice when available).

We do—our patio is a big part of the Hive vibe. Great for sunny coffees, golden-hour hangs, and everything in between.

We love a good patio pup moment. Per health code they are sadly not allowed inside but grab your puppiccino and head out to the beautiful patio.
